Calculated Debacle

As the alarm blared at dawn, signaling the first day of the new semester at college, I, a 25-year-old honor roll student, felt a surge of excitement mixed with a tinge of nervousness. Ready to tackle the academic challenges ahead, I headed to my buddy's house for a quick stop before classes began.

Upon reaching my buddy's place, I was greeted by an unusual sight - he was caretaking for Mitchell, a big oversized baby of a guy with a penchant for causing mischief. As I observed Mitchell's chubby face scrunched up in confusion, a mischievous idea popped into my nerdy yet slightly cruel mind.

Without a second thought, I let out a mischievous chuckle, which caught Mitchell's attention. In a daring move, I playfully farted, making him giggle uncontrollably. Seizing the opportunity, I swiftly grabbed his addition math homework and jokingly shoved it down his dirty pamper, much to his bewilderment.

After bidding my buddy and Mitchell farewell, I made my way to college, a smirk playing on my lips. Today was not just about debating politics and acing exams; it was about starting the semester with a bang, even if it meant taking a playful jab at a fellow student.

As I settled into my seat in the lecture hall, surrounded by eager classmates and the anticipation of the day ahead, I couldn't help but wonder about the repercussions of my prank on Mitchell. Would he see the humor in it, or would it escalate into something more?

The professor started the class with a thought-provoking discussion on current affairs, and my mind shifted focus to the upcoming exam. However, a nagging thought lingered in the back of my mind, leaving me pondering the consequences of my playful yet slightly cruel act earlier that morning.

As the day progressed and classes went by in a blur of lectures and discussions, I couldn't shake off the feeling of curiosity mixed with a hint of guilt. Would Mitchell confront me about the prank? Or would he brush it off as a harmless joke?

As the final bell rang to mark the end of the day, I gathered my belongings and prepared to head home. The mystery of Mitchell's reaction lingered in the air, leaving me wondering about the aftermath of my nerdy yet mischievous escapade.

And so, with a curious mind and a hint of apprehension, I left college that day, eager to see how the events would unfold in the days to come, all while embracing the complexities of academia and the unexpected twists of student life.
