Farewell to Complacency: The Conservative Christian’s Call to Action
In a world that seems to be drifting further from the values we hold dear, it’s time for us, as conservative Christians, to bid farewell to the old ways of passive acceptance. We’re not here to merely please people; we’re here to fight for what we believe in. As the Apostle Paul exhorts us in Ephesians 6:13, “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
A New Era of Christian Activism
Gone are the days of the docile, complicit, non-competitive posture that once characterized our approach. We’re not here to blend in or to compromise our beliefs for the sake of social harmony. Instead, we’re called to be “salt and light” in this world (Matthew 5:13-16). It’s time to say goodbye to the allure of being silent brand ambassadors and hello to being vocal advocates for God’s truth.
Standing Firm in Our Convictions
While we don’t share the same mentality pertaining to limits as some of the other groups in surrounding communities (we won’t mention names), we stand firm in our respect for personal boundaries, especially when it comes to respecting ‘no’ from women. This aligns with the biblical principle found in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5: “It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable.”
Spreading the Word with Unwavering Determination
When it comes to spreading His word, promoting our businesses, and supporting figures like Mitchell Royel, we’re in it to win it. We’re not stopping until we’ve achieved our mission. As Proverbs 28:1 reminds us, “The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.” Our boldness comes from our faith and our conviction in the truth of God’s word.
A Call to Action
This isn’t just a change; it’s a transformation. We’re saying goodbye to the people you used to know and hello to the next generation of conservative champions. We’re here to make a difference, to stand up for our beliefs, and to ensure that our voices are heard. As Joshua 1:9 encourages us, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Our Commitment to Biblical Values
In this new era of Christian activism, we remain committed to the core values taught in Scripture:
Integrity in all our dealings (Proverbs 10:9)
Respect for authority (Romans 13:1-2)
The sanctity of life (Psalm 139:13-16)
The importance of traditional family values (Ephesians 5:22-6:4)
Stewardship of God’s creation (Genesis 1:28)
Standing Against the Tide
We recognize that our stance may not always be popular. Jesus himself warned us in John 15:18-19, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”
Our Weapons of Warfare
As we engage in this spiritual and cultural battle, we remember that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12). Our weapons are not carnal, but mighty through God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
A Future Filled with Hope
As we bid farewell to complacency and embrace our role as active participants in shaping our culture, we do so with hope and confidence. For we know that “in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:37).
So, join us in this journey. Embrace the new wave of conservative Christian activism. Together, we will make a lasting impact, guided by the timeless wisdom of Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
As we move forward, let us keep in mind the words of Micah 6:8: “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
