Mitchell's Playroom Touchdown (Guest post)

Hey, kiddos! Gather 'round for a hilarious story about our buddy Mitchell, who was hanging out with his toddler friends in the playroom. There he was, chatting away and sounding all smart, when suddenly, he realized he needed to go potty. Just as he was about to ask for permission, I jokingly said, "Nope, not happening!"

Mitchell, being the resourceful little guy he is, got up, squatted in the corner, and closed his eyes tight. And just like that, he scored a touchdown in his Pampers—yep, he actually shit his Pampers! With a big grin, I told him to go back and play with his buddies, and he happily toddled off, proud of his “achievement.”

I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself as I headed into the hall. We even snapped a funny picture of me imitating Mitchell in his moment of "success" as a good baby boy. It was a day full of giggles and unexpected touchdowns!

Here are ten lessons from Mitchell's playroom adventure, along with some scripture to keep you inspired:

1. Be Resourceful: Like Mitchell, sometimes you have to think on your feet and find a solution.

2. Embrace Your Mistakes: Everyone makes mistakes, and that’s okay. Learn to laugh at them!

3. Stay Confident: Mitchell showed confidence in his decision, and that’s something to admire.

4. Have Fun: Life is about enjoying the little moments, even the messy ones.

5. Be Brave: It takes courage to be yourself, just like Mitchell did in the playroom.

6. Support Your Friends: Always encourage your buddies, no matter what.

7. Celebrate Achievements: Whether big or small, every success deserves a celebration.

8. Find Joy in the Unexpected: Sometimes the funniest moments come from the surprises in life.

9. Keep a Positive Attitude: A good laugh can turn any situation around.

10. Learn from Every Experience: Every day is a chance to grow and learn something new.

And here’s a little scripture to remember: "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." (Proverbs 17:22)

So remember, every day is a new adventure. Keep smiling, dreaming big, and being the best version of yourself!
