Ugly Laughing Face
captured by royel, DTLA, 2024
“in mirthful dance, let visage be unbound,
though some may call it ugly, laugh aloud,
for joy's a treasure, rare and profound,
in every smile, let happiness be proud.
the world may jest at faces full of glee,
yet in such laughter, truth and beauty lie,
for in the heart, where joy is wild and free,
we find the courage to let spirits fly.
though some may scorn the visage of delight,
in every grin, a spark of life doth glow,
embrace the madness, revel in the light,
for in such moments, true contentment shows.
let not the world dictate how joy should be,
for in our laughter, we find strength anew,
in every chuckle, echoing the sea,
a symphony of happiness rings true.
when others mock the faces that we wear,
remember, joy's a gift to be embraced,
for in each smile, a story we do share,
a tapestry of love and life interlaced.
in laughter's dance, let not thy spirit hide,
for in such mirth, the soul finds sweet release,
in every guffaw, let thy heart abide,
and in such moments, find thy inner peace.
though some may jest at faces full of cheer,
in every grin, a spark of life doth glow,
embrace the madness, revel in the light,
for in such moments, true contentment shows.
let not the world dictate how joy should be,
for in our laughter, we find strength anew,
in every chuckle, echoing the sea,
a symphony of happiness rings true.
when others mock the faces that we wear,

for in each smile, a story we do share,
a tapestry of love and life interlaced.
