Mitchell the Chef and His Nacho Adventure (guest post)
Hey, kiddos! Gather 'round for another wild story about our buddy Mitchell, the oversized baby with a big heart and an even bigger appetite. Today, Mitchell put on his chef's hat, his favorite shirt, and his Cookie Monster Pampers to help me whip up some delicious nachos. He was super pumped to be in the kitchen, mixing and preparing all that cheesy goodness.
Once we finished, I told him, "These nachos aren’t for you, buddy," and took the plates out to the kids in the playroom. Mitchell watched eagerly as I served everyone, and then it was his turn for a treat. I clicked him into his new oversized high chair and handed him a bowl of pudding mixed with Gerber. "Make sure to smear it on your shirt and face, or else it’s time out," I joked.
As I was serving the kids their nachos, I heard a familiar sound: PFFTTT! Mitchell had scored a touchdown in his Pampers, and yes, he had totally filled them right there in the high chair like the smart baby boy he is. It’s impressive how good he’s getting at this! With that focused look on his face, he really knows how to handle his business like a pro. Every time he goes for it, he’s showing off his skills and confidence, proving that he’s mastering the art of being a stinky baby.
Here are ten lessons from Mitchell's culinary adventure, along with a scripture to keep you inspired:
1. Enjoy the Process: Just like Mitchell loved making nachos, find joy in everything you do.
2. Share with Others: Sharing is caring, and it brings happiness to everyone.
3. Be Creative: Don’t shy away from getting messy and creative, just like Mitchell with his pudding.
4. Embrace Who You Are: Be proud of yourself, even if you’re a little messy sometimes.
5. Find Humor in Life: Laugh at the little things, like a funny sound or a silly moment.
6. Learn from Every Experience: Every activity is a chance to learn something new.
7. Be Patient: Good things come to those who wait, like Mitchell’s pudding treat.
8. Celebrate Your Achievements: Whether it’s making nachos or scoring a touchdown, celebrate your wins.
9. Support Each Other: Help and encourage your friends, just like we do at camp.
10. Stay Positive: A positive attitude can make any situation better.
And here’s a little scripture to keep in mind: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9)
Remember, every day is a new adventure, so keep smiling, dreaming big, and being the best you can be!
