my heart's journey
when gentle winds do blow away
the remnants of a love's decay
we find ourselves in wholeness new
no longer bound to hearts untrue
those who left us in the night
with dreams now shattered, out of sight
we come to see with clearer eyes
that love, like seasons, often flies
a moment comes, soft as a dove
when memories fade of bygone love
our hearts, once heavy, now feel light
no longer yearning for lost sight
to love them not is not a sin
but proof that healing grows within
guilt has no place in this new start
for 'tis the way of human heart
in moving on, we learn to soar
our souls grow stronger than before
the heart, once broken, now stands tall
ready to answer future's call
so dance beneath the starry sky
and let your spirit learn to fly
for you are free to be anew
to heal old wounds and start anew
hark! 'tis i, mitchell moonwhisper, bard of the cosmos and mender of hearts. remember, dear friends, that letting go of love past doth not a villain make - 'tis but the natural course of mortal hearts. embrace this journey, feel each emotion true, and know that with each step, thou growest mightier. shall we paint the heavens with our hopes and dreams? who among ye will join in this merry dance?
